MSKTD's design principals are working architects and engineers . . . each with a full load of project responsibilities. Meet them here.

Culture
Our employees are MSKTDs' greatest asset - many have been with us for more than 15 years. They are a group of creative, fun, smart, inquisitive people who work hard - over and above whenever asked.

MSKTD offers our staff a flexible work schedule and a varied workload in a casual, team-oriented environment. There are no offices with doors at MSKTD - workspaces are organized in an open concept with low wall partitions to encourage collaboration between Architects, Engineers, Interior Designers, Management, and Administrative staff.

Keeping it loose and having fun is also part of the culture at MSKTD, and we have a variety of special events throughout the year. They include our Christmas Party, Co-ed Softball Team, Annual Golf Outing, Super Bowl Parties, Office Lunch Pitch-Ins, Hockey Games at our Coliseum suite, Anniversary Summer Picnics (with helicopter rides, no less), Birthday Treats, Dessert competitions, and our annual 500 Race Cookout & Driver Pool.

Giving Back
Both individually and collectively, MSKTD people are generous with their time and talents. Annual giving opportunities include adopting a large Christmas Bureau Family, In-Office Bake Sales for Charity, In-office Red Cross Blood Drives, CANstruction, cans for Habitat for Humanity.

Recently added to our efforts to help our communities are Blue Jean Fridays - $5 buys the opportunity to wear jeans to the office and contribute to the charity of the month. 2009 charities include:

Open House
One of MSKTD's most successful and popular events is our annual Fort Wayne Open House - our October anniversary "thank you" party for clients, contractors, family and friends, with food prepared by everyone in the office - management and staff. Our first Open House was hosted by 4 staff members and had 80 guests; in 2008, over sixty-five employees prepared food for well over 400 guests.

Requests from our guests over the years for our recipes has resulted in 2 editions of an MSKTD cookbook - Food by Designers, Volumes I and II - which were given as gifts to our Open House guests in celebration of our firm's 25th and 30th anniversaries. For those who missed their copy, the Allen County Public Library has both editions.

Thank you to the hundreds of clients, contractors, friends and family who joined us for our 2009 open house. Looking forward to our 2010 celebration - No. 32!
