Harbor Center Presentation
Thursday, February 17th, 2011On February 15th, Jim Kratzat, MSKTD President and Architect, presented
conceptual drawings to the City of Gloucester, Massachusetts for a proposed waterfront development project. Jim and his wife Linda have a home in Gloucester, where Linda is a seasonal volunteer with Cape Ann Whale Watch.MSKTD’s conceptual plan for the harbor property provides for both public and private development, which will enhance its historic character, respects its neighbors, supports the visitor and business economy and is compatible with the work waterfront.More images can be found on MSKTD’s Facebook page

Architect and MSKTD “official” photographer Jonah Garoutte just posted new pictures of Ball State University’s Student Recreation & Wellness Center which opened to students in the fall of 2010. Snow and “snirt” aside, a beautiful facility both inside and out.The $35 million center encompasses more than 400,000 square feet and includes a 20,000-square-foot indoor turf field, seven full-length basketball and volleyball courts, the Outdoor Pursuits Center, a 35-foot climbing wall, a 200-meter elevated running track, multipurpose rooms, classrooms, offices and a Quizno’s franchise. The project is being submitted to USGBC with a goal of LEED Silver Certification.Thanks to Ball State for selecting MSKTD for this prestigious project, and a “good job” to Gary Voirol, Rick Dahlstrom and the rest of the MSKTD crew for delivering a great project.

The 11,000 s.f. new facility will be located on the northwest corner of 96th and Meridian Streets.
