Architect and MSKTD “official” photographer Jonah Garoutte just posted new pictures of Ball State University’s Student Recreation & Wellness Center which opened to students in the fall of 2010. Snow and “snirt” aside, a beautiful facility both inside and out.The $35 million center encompasses more than 400,000 square feet and includes a 20,000-square-foot indoor turf field, seven full-length basketball and volleyball courts, the Outdoor Pursuits Center, a 35-foot climbing wall, a 200-meter elevated running track, multipurpose rooms, classrooms, offices and a Quizno’s franchise. The project is being submitted to USGBC with a goal of LEED Silver Certification. Thanks to Ball State for selecting MSKTD for this prestigious project, and a “good job” to Gary Voirol, Rick Dahlstrom and the rest of the MSKTD crew for delivering a great project.
