Harbor Center Presentation

On February 15th, Jim Kratzat, MSKTD President and Architect, presented conceptual drawings to the City of Gloucester, Massachusetts for a proposed waterfront development project.   Jim and his wife Linda have a home in Gloucester, where Linda is a seasonal volunteer with Cape Ann Whale Watch.MSKTD’s conceptual plan for the harbor property provides for both public and private development, which will enhance its historic character, respects its neighbors, supports the visitor and business economy and is compatible with the work waterfront.More images can be found on MSKTD’s Facebook page

Great job Ball State Team!

Architect and MSKTD “official” photographer Jonah Garoutte just posted new pictures of Ball State University’s Student Recreation & Wellness Center which opened to students in the fall of 2010. Snow and “snirt” aside, a beautiful facility both inside and out.The $35 million center encompasses more than 400,000 square feet and includes a 20,000-square-foot indoor turf field, seven full-length basketball and volleyball courts, the Outdoor Pursuits Center, a 35-foot climbing wall, a 200-meter elevated running track, multipurpose rooms, classrooms, offices and a Quizno’s franchise.  The project is being submitted to USGBC with a goal of LEED Silver Certification.Thanks to Ball State for selecting MSKTD for this prestigious project, and a “good job” to Gary Voirol, Rick Dahlstrom and the rest of the MSKTD crew for delivering a great project.

The Denim Crew….

As part of our ongoing Blue Jean Friday campaign, our “Denim Crew” contributed $195 to Family & Children’s Services of Fort Wayne for the month of January. Family and Children’s Services “promotes and develops healthy relationships in individuals, families and communities so they are empowered to make positive life choices.”  Great job Denim Crew!Upcoming charities include Erin’s House for Grieving Children, Foundation for Fighting Blindness, Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, SPCA, Community Harvest Food Bank, and Making Strides/Breast Cancer.And on a daily basis, MSKTD staff and our tenants MAGTECH/Fortune Wireless support Habitat for Humanity by collecting cans; Ronald McDonald House by collecting pop can tabs, and our Christmas Bureau family by selling cookies at our reception desk. That’s right, we assuage our guilt from our unhealthy eating habits by giving to others…

Lake City Bank New Carmel Banking Center
