IIDA Membership Mix & Mingle

On October 26, 2017, over 50 members and associates of the Indiana Chapter of IIDA (International Interior Design Association) enjoyed several hours of great food and conversation. IIDA is a professional organization with 15,000+ members across 58 countries. The Indiana chapter, whose “role is to celebrate, advocate, and create opportunities for the best Interior Designers in Indiana and to connect them with the best opportunities in the field,” did not disappoint Thursday evening’s event goers. IIDA Indiana holds mingle events yearly at each City Center (Indianapolis and Fort Wayne) to help interior design professionals build stronger connections within the industry and strengthen relationships, while showcasing the benefits of an IIDA membership.

MSKTD was honored to host the event at its headquarters in Fort Wayne, Indiana.

IIDA loves to promote the development of future professionals. Jessica Hendrick, a student at Indiana University – Purdue University Fort Wayne, was awarded a $1000 stipend at yesterday’s event for her interest in interior design.

The CRC is a unique space designed for counseling and a variety of amenities that will educate and comfort patients as they begin their journey against cancer. This project was designed by MSKTD and built by Wurster Construction. The CRC was made possible through the collaborative support of the American Cancer Society, Cancer Support Community, Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, Little Red Door, and Susan G. Komen Foundation. Together with these five community organizations and IU Health, MSKTD is pleased to make a positive difference in the lives of those fighting cancer.
