No project type has been more important to the success and reputation of MSKTD than our work on facilities that touch the communities where we live, work and play.

MSKTD's Architects and Engineers have worked with private groups, city, county, state, and federal agencies on project types ranging from small scale parking lots for the United States Postal Service, to new community YMCA's and parks projects, to multi-million dollar destination landmarks such as arenas, libraries and convention centers. Design and planning expertise includes dense urban areas and small cities and towns where these facilities are the focal point of the community.

Understanding that fiscal responsibility is a must with community projects, our in-house estimating department plays a vital role in keeping them within budget throughout the design and construction process. Prime examples of our success are the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum with both the Expo Center addition and roof-raising of the arena, and two projects that have spurred the current downtown Fort Wayne redevelopment - the Grand Wayne Center expansion and the Allen County Public Library addition and renovation.
