“As the new President of MSKTD and a project architect, I do my best to manage the firm just like my projects. I also maintain client relationships, build new ones and encourage and mentor the staff on a day-to-day basis. I have a great time doing this kind of work - honestly, I cannot see myself doing anything else but working in the architecture profession.”

Gary co-leads MSKTD’s in-house higher education and academic group on projects ranging from renovation work to state-of-the-art new buildings on main and regional college and university campuses. He is also responsible for overseeing our K-thru-12 market.

Gary’s management style allows the project budget, scope, and schedule to facilitate the best design solution for our clients.

“Figuring out what our clients want or need, and finding a way to meet and exceed those needs, motivates me. That includes seeing the big picture, project management, design, communication, planning - and consistent honesty.”

The built environment has always fascinated Brent, and he has continuously honed his design and management skills. By 1999, after already excelling in architecture, it was clear to him that he also had a considerable passion for production and industry. Now, as a leader of MSKTD and its nationally recognized Hygienic Design team, he helps our clients achieve their goals, producing something substantial for the good of their business, the community, and our economy.

"As an Architect, my job, first and foremost, is to create highly functional and usable spaces for our clients. As a designer, my job is to bring a level of sophistication and elegance to the utilitarian qualities of those spaces, but in no way should the design get in the way of the ultimate purpose of the spaces."

As the senior principal in MSKTD’s Indianapolis office, Bob’s strength is in all phases of project development, from inception and programming, through construction administration and completion. His approach and philosophy are tried and true methods; coordinate and manage the design, schedule, and budget while keeping the Owner informed at all times.

As a LEED accredited professional, Bob is dedicated to assisting our clients in finding sustainable solutions that improve their built environment. He is well-versed in all Health Care codes and currently serves on several code committees including:

• NFPA 101 Life Safety Code Technical Committee on Health Care Occupancies (Chapters 18 – 21)
• 2012 Indiana Building Code Committee – AIA representative
