The Coliseum renovation and expansion project included the "raising of the roof" for the skybox and arena expansion.
Scope of the project included:

Expanding and modernizing the current facility to compete with other regional venues.

Enlarging the arena seating from 7,500 fixed seats to a capacity of over 10,000 seats.

Building 24 arena suites and 300 club seats.

Providing handicap accessibility throughout the Concourses and Arena.

Upgrading the HVAC, lighting and electrical infrastructures to meet future needs and current codes.

Enhancing all aspects of audio and video communications to provide multi-media interfaces with the Public.

Installing new padded fixed seating and hockey dasher boards.

Constructing a vehicle access corridor direct from the exterior to the Arena floor for large shows.
Since 1986, MSKTD has designed and overseen more than $50.0 mil of new construction and renovations at this facility, including the Exposition Center Addition and Arena Renovations.
