Embassy Theatre - Indiana Hotel 3rd Floor Renovation
Fort Wayne, Indiana
This renovation project provided access to the upper 4 floors of the Embassy Theatre & Indiana Hotel with the installation of a new elevator and a new stairway, making development of the upper, abandoned floors of the Hotel more accessible for potential future development. The newly renovated 3rd floor provides interior access from the new Courtyard by Marriott to the Grand Wayne Center and Embassy Theatre, once the new pedestrian bridge (also an MSKTD project) is completed between the Embassy and Courtyard by Marriott.
The renovation maintains similar quality of finishes with the Historic Indiana Hotel Lobby (a renovation project completed by MSKTD in the mid '90s), including the heavily textured stucco walls, wood trim, and the custom re-creation of original carpet from the first & second floors. This project was made possible by funding from the City of Fort Wayne and the generous support of the Goldstine Foundation.
