Lutheran Hospital of Indiana - North Garage

MSKTD and Carl Walker Parking provided all design services for the North Parking Garage located on the Lutheran Hospital West Jefferson Blvd. campus in Fort Wayne, Indiana. This garage was the first parking structure on the hospital campus and provided much needed and efficient parking for the fast growing healthcare complex. This garage is a 2-level plus partial floor (157,900 square feet) 472-vehicle parking structure. Designed to compliment existing architecture, the structure has a relatively low-profile to minimize screening of the newly constructed NeuroSpine & Pain Center. The facility makes use of a cast-in-place, post-tensioned concrete superstructure and has durability features such as well-drained floor slabs, corrosion inhibitors, concrete admixtures, epoxy coated rebar and hot-dip, galvanized embeds and inserts. The parking structure features a beautiful brick exterior and high-bay and well-lit parking decks. Remote cameras are located throughout the garage and are tied-in with the Lutheran Hospital security system.
