Marion General Hospital MRI Replacement
A new space was created in this project for a state of the art Philips Open-View MRI. This MRI unit came with Philips new Ambient Experience, which creates an environment filled with a soothing theme-based sound and light show which helps relax the patient and changes the often claustrophobic MRI experience. MSKTD worked closely with Philips and Marion General staff to create a space that would enhance the Experience. A custom metal panel ceiling and walls with radiused corners and all white surfaces help to reflect the themes. A Kitten Scanner is used to educate children and relieve anxiety about MRI exams.
