MSKTD has completed several projects over the past eighteen years for this worldwide leader in orthopaedic manufacturing. These projects are fast-tracked and involve state-of-the-art technology in a very competitive market.
Global Research & Development Center: The R&D Center houses new laboratories and workspace adjacent to Zimmer's West Center Street facility in Warsaw.
Zimmer "Trauma": Renovation of 130,000 s.f. of the old Kimble Glass Facility, relocating and consolidating certain existing Warsaw functions and accommodate future manufacturing needs. The facility also will serve as the headquarters for the new Zimmer Trauma Division.
The Zimmer Institute: Located at their Warsaw headquarters, the Zimmer Institute is the hub of Zimmer's initiative for the new "Minimally Invasive Solutions" Procedures and Technologies hip replacement program, which trains surgeons at this new state-of-the art training facility. With advanced electronics and links to satellite facilities, it offers surgeons the opportunity to train in an operating room environment. This 15,000 s.f. facility opened for training in April of 2003.
Distribution Center: MSKTD has completed several projects at the company's Warsaw distribution center. Zimmer ships more than 40,000 products from this facility.
